How proTextor Works
What is proTextor? proTextor is software for a cell phone that blocks incoming and outgoing text messages and phone calls while driving over a preset speed. GPS enabled software is engaged when the vehicle begins moving, blocking incoming and outgoing calls and texts.
How does it work? The first step is downloading proTextor to your phone. Next, an administrator customizes the settings, such as the speed at which you want the software to engage and an automated response to incoming calls and texts.
Once the settings are saved, proTextor does the rest! proTextor detects when the phone is in motion, automatically sending phone calls to voice mail and logging all incoming and outgoing text messages. Access your missed calls and texts once you arrive at your destination! The intention of proTextor is to prevent cell phone use while the car is in motion.
What about passengers? proTextor can be disabled by an administrator when you are the passenger in a vehicle. This is a feature that requires trust between the user and the administrator. The administrator can send a text to the user’s phone, temporarily disabling proTextor. proTextor will engage immediately after the text from the administrator has been sent.
